Alan Tepley

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Alan Tepley is a postdoc in the Biogeography Lab of the Department of Geography at the University of Colorado. His primary research interests are in forest disturbance regimes (especially fire), including the response of forest stand and landscape structure to historical and on-going changes in disturbance regimes, interactions among disturbance types, and the application of disturbance history to forest management. In the Wildfire-PIRE project, Alan will be using field-based and modeling approaches to understand post-fire vegetation dynamics in New Zealand and in the Rocky Mountains.
