Bio: 

Cameron E. Naficy is a doctoral student in the Biogeography Lab at CU Boulder. His research interests include disturbance ecology, the role of climate variability in structuring disturbance regimes, forest mortality processes, tree ecophysiology,and ecological restoration. Geographically, his work is focused in the northern Rocky Mountains, USA and in Patagonia. As part of WILDFIRE PIRE Cameron will be conducting a cross-scale assessment of the historical and contemporary patterns and drivers of variation of wildfire effects in mixed-severity fire regime forests of Montana and Wyoming.
